​We’re so glad you’re here. Your wellness journey begins the moment you step through our doors. To help you feel at ease, here’s what to know before your first appointment.
Preparing for Your Massage Treatment

Arrival & Check-In
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle into the space. Make sure to book your appointment on-line and fill out the health intake form before your appointment.

Our clinic is located inside Crowfoot Wellness Centre at 21 Crowfoot Rise NW, Calgary.
​
Clinic Hours by Appointment only Monday to Friday, 9am–9 pm and Sat-Sun 9am-5pm. Your therapist will be there to greet you.

​Direct Billing & Insurance
We offer direct billing to most major insurance providers. Make sure to book your appointment on-line and fill out the direct billing consent form before your appointment.

To streamline your experience, please bring:

Any doctor’s referral if required by your plan

Note: Some plans may not support direct billing. If this is the case, we’ll provide a receipt for you to submit manually.

Cancellation Policy
We understand life happens—if you need to reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice.
Late cancellations or no-shows are subject to a 100% charge of the scheduled service.

Running late? We’ll do our best to accommodate, but please note your session may be shortened to respect the next appointment.

How do I book an appointment

All appointments are booked through our secure Jane online booking system.

To reserve your appointment, a valid credit card is optional at the time of booking. Your card will not be charged at the time of booking—it is securely stored through our booking system (JaneApp) and used only in accordance with our 24 hour cancellation policy. This policy helps us ensure availability and fairness for both our clients and practitioners.

Create your profile, choose your preferred therapist, and select a time that works for you.

🌿​Initial Visit Special - New to Still Roots Massage? Enjoy a 60-minute massage for $99 on your first visit. This applies to first-time clients only. Returning clients can still earn rewards through our Referrals and Root Rewards Program.

Your First Massage Therapy Visit: What to Expect
Whether you’re here for relaxation, pain relief, or injury recovery, your first massage should be a calm and comfortable experience. Here's what you can expect when you visit us for the first time:
1. Quick Health Intake Assessment & Chat (5–10 min)
We’ll start with a short health assessment and a conversation about your goals, areas of tension, past injuries, and preferences (like pressure level and areas to avoid). This helps your Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) personalize your treatment.
2. Getting Settled
Your RMT will explain how the session will flow, then leave the room so you can undress to your comfort level and lie on the table under the linens. You’ll always be properly draped, and your privacy is fully respected.
Your First Manual Osteopathy Visit: What to Expect
If you’re new to manual osteopathy, you might be wondering what it’s all about. This gentle, hands-on therapy focuses on restoring balance and movement throughout your body—helping to relieve pain, improve function, and support overall wellness.
Here’s what your first visit will look like:
1. Consultation & Health History (10–15 min)
We begin with a one-on-one conversation to learn about your health concerns, lifestyle, posture, injuries, and goals. Your osteopathic practitioner will review your medical history and may ask about past surgeries, accidents, or chronic conditions.
2. Assessment (10–15 min)
Next, a full-body assessment helps us understand how your body moves and where restrictions or imbalances may be. This includes checking posture, joint mobility, muscle tension, and alignment.
3. Hands-On Treatment (30–40 min)
Once the assessment is complete, we’ll begin your first treatment. Techniques are gentle and non-invasive—often involving stretching, light pressure, joint mobilization, and rhythmic movements. Many clients find it deeply relaxing.
4. Aftercare & What to Expect (5 min)
We’ll go over what you might feel post-treatment, any recommended stretches or self-care tips, and discuss your ongoing care plan if needed. Most people feel loose

Your First Body Wrap Treatment: What to Expect
Never had a body scrub or wrap before? No worries! Here's a simple breakdown of what your 60-minute treatment looks like—designed to help you relax, glow, and feel completely taken care of from start to finish.
1. Quick Chat & Setup (5 min)
We’ll start with a quick skin check and walk you through the treatment. Then you'll have a few moments to undress and get cozy on the treatment table—always covered and comfortable.
2. Full-Body Exfoliation (10–12 min)
Using a mineral-rich Himalayan or Touch sea salt scrub, we gently exfoliate your back, arms, and legs. It buffs away dull skin and leaves you feeling silky smooth.
3. Warm Rinse (5 min)
Depending on our setup, you’ll enjoy a warm towel wipe-down to remove the scrub and refresh your skin.
4. Seaweed Body Wrap (8–10 min)
Next, we apply a soothing lotus seaweed gel to deeply hydrate and detoxify your skin. Then you’ll be wrapped up in cozy layers to let it all sink in.
5. Relaxation Time (20 min)
While you're wrapped, enjoy a calming scalp massage and a mini face massage. This is your time to unwind and let go.
6. Unwrap & Optional Rinse (5 min)
We’ll gently remove the wrap and offer another quick rinse or hot towel wipe-down—totally your choice.
