At Still Roots Massage, we offer direct billing for massage therapy and manual osteopathy through most major insurance providers. This service is provided as a courtesy to our clients, helping to make your experience as seamless as possible. There is no additional charge for direct billing, but advance coordination is required, and certain conditions apply.

We currently offer direct billing to:

• Sun Life

• Manulife

• Canada Life

• Blue Cross

• Green Shield

• And many more

If your provider isn't listed but you have coverage, we’ll provide a detailed receipt so you can submit your claim manually.

What Is Direct Billing?

Direct billing is a way to streamline your insurance claims. We work directly with your insurance company, so you can avoid the paperwork, phone calls, and forms often involved in submitting a claim yourself.

This means:

• Less stress and admin for you

• Faster confirmation of coverage

• Reduced upfront costs (where applicable)

It’s just one more way we help you focus on what matters most—your recovery and well-being.

Before Your Appointment

To ensure smooth processing of your claim, please email or provide your insurance information at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. Required details include:

• Insurance provider name

• Policy and certificate/ID number

• Plan holder's full name, date of birth, and contact info (if you’re not the primary holder)

Important Notes About Direct Billing

• Direct billing is not guaranteed. Occasionally, billing may not be possible due to technical issues (e.g., insurer server downtime or errors).

• Coverage varies. Not all plans allow direct billing. Please check with your provider or contact us ahead of time to confirm eligibility.

• Client responsibility. If your claim is denied or cannot be processed, you are responsible for the full payment at the time of service. A receipt will be provided for manual submission.

• We reserve the right to decline direct billing. While we do our best to offer this service consistently, it remains a privilege—not a right—and is subject to discretion.
